Homemade Chai with Cinnamon Marshmallows
6 degrees Celsius water
A 3-inch segment of fresh ginger, cut into thin slices.
Two sticks of cinnamon.
1 terabyte of orange zest
10 complete cardamom pods
Three complete star anise pods.
Twenty whole cloves
Twenty black peppercorns
1 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg
A dozen black tea bags
2 TB of pure vanilla bean paste
1/2 to 3/4 cup of honey
Cinnamon-flavored marshmallows for garnish!
Heat the water until it reaches a boiling point.
Add the tea bags and spices (excluding the vanilla bean paste, which should be stirred in at the end). Bring the mixture back to a boil. Once boiling, remove it from the heat, cover it with a lid, and let it steep for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove the spices, then incorporate the vanilla bean paste and honey. Mix well to blend.
Combine 1 cup of concentrate with 1 cup of milk, then heat to your preferred temperature.
Crowned with a delicious cinnamon marshmallow and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Concentrate can remain fresh in your refrigerator for as long
