We now know how much Chevy’s long-awaited Corvette ZR1 supercar will cost the folks who are brave enough to strap themselves into the 1,000+ horsepower beast: $174,995 including destination. I know that sounds like a lot, but like all Corvettes, it’s still a bit of a performance bargain.
Look at the rest of the automotive landscape. Where else are you getting a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged flat-plane crank V8 with 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque for less money? Where else are you getting a car that can do 0-60 in just 2.3 seconds, the quarter mile in 9.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 233 mph for a price that’s similar to a mid-level Range Rover? Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and McLaren don’t offer anything in the same stratosphere as this car for such little money.
Anyway, Chevy says it’s going to begin accepting orders for the 2025 ZR1 in the middle of next month and production will begin sometime in the second quarter of this year. Prices start at $174,995, including $1,695 for dest
