Champneys luxury spa group sees £8.4m losses for third year in a row

Despite its turnover nearing a significant milestone, celebrity luxury spa group Champneys has reported further losses.
The group, which operates several sites nationwide and was established a century ago, recorded a pre-tax loss of £8.4m for the year ending 30 April 2024, according to recently filed accounts with Companies House, as reported by City AM.
This follows a loss of £5m in the previous year. The group last posted a pre-tax profit in the year ending April 2022, amounting to £834,774.
However, the latest results also indicate that Champneys increased its turnove
