Simeone's son Giuliano scores his first goal for Atletico in 2-0 win over Palmas
Diego Simeone's son Giuliano scored his first goal for Atletico Madrid in their 2-0 win over Las Palmas.
The 21-year-old, who joined Atleti in 2019, spent last season on loan at Alaves but has been integrated into Simeone's first team squad this term.
He made his second LaLiga start of the season against Las Palmas and opened the scoring after 37 minutes.
Nahuel Molina's long ball up the right flank helped Simeone beat the visitors' high defensive line and the forward sprinted towards the six-yard box and finished with his right foot past keeper Jasper Cillessen's outstretched leg.
