Devasting news has rocked the United States since the start of 2025. Multiple tragedies hit as we rang in the brand new year. One of my favorite areas in Golden State is being ravaged by multiple fires and families, including individuals I went to school with, now have nothing. NOTHING.
Sadly, more unfortunate news is hitting our nation's landscape. Several retail giants have indicated that in order to move forward, closures are inevitable. It has been confirmed that Kohl's is shuttering several locations. Now, Macy's is moving forward with their announcement of closings and have published the store locations that are closing for good. And yes, Minnesota stores are on the list.

List of Macy's Locations Across the United States Scheduled for Closure in Early 2025
A total of 66 Macy's stores will be shuttering for good, according to USAToday.com. In early 2024, Macy's announced its overall strategy to have sustainable growth which comprised of closing 150 stores that were deemed "underproductive".
